The World Will Sing (12/28/13)

Read: Zechariah 12:1-13:9, Revelation 19:1-21, Psalm 147:1-20, Proverbs 31:1-7

Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!
(Psalm 147:1)

After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, “Praise the Lord!  Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. (Revelation 19:1)

Relate: In what will be one of the last posts this year I have to step back and say thank you. For what God has chosen to do with The River Walk this past year, I am humbled. For what all of you have done to make it happen, I am grateful. I would never have imagined a year ago that in 2013 I would have over 100,000 new views, 8,000 new followers, and 3,000 new comments. I would never have imagined the global reach my writing would have as over 35% of you come from beyond the US (representing over 180 nations) and more than 20% are from nationas where English isn’t even the primary language.

I am honored by what He has done and what more is coming. If, in a year, we can go from one thousand to 100 thousand views, then who’s to say next year this time we won’t be looking at a million? Who is to say that if this happened for me this year, it won’t happen for you next year? Let us continue to lift up the name of our God and watch as the world joins us in song…

A very insightful blog, complete with beautiful imagery and meditation on our God’s love. This talks particularly about the global effect of God’s outreach. His hand knows no distance too far beyond His reach.
