The World Will Sing (12/28/13)

Read: Zechariah 12:1-13:9, Revelation 19:1-21, Psalm 147:1-20, Proverbs 31:1-7

Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!
(Psalm 147:1)

After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, “Praise the Lord!  Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. (Revelation 19:1)

Relate: In what will be one of the last posts this year I have to step back and say thank you. For what God has chosen to do with The River Walk this past year, I am humbled. For what all of you have done to make it happen, I am grateful. I would never have imagined a year ago that in 2013 I would have over 100,000 new views, 8,000 new followers, and 3,000 new comments. I would never have imagined the global reach my writing would have as over 35% of you come from beyond the US (representing over 180 nations) and more than 20% are from nationas where English isn’t even the primary language.

I am honored by what He has done and what more is coming. If, in a year, we can go from one thousand to 100 thousand views, then who’s to say next year this time we won’t be looking at a million? Who is to say that if this happened for me this year, it won’t happen for you next year? Let us continue to lift up the name of our God and watch as the world joins us in song…

React: There will be a day when people from every tongue, every tribe, every culture will gather around the mountain of God to sing together His praise. Will You join them now?

  1. There is a this commercial: I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony-Coca-cola. I think you have touched on a much greater aspect of worship. At some point the world WILL sing in perfect harmony to our Savior. Excellent reminder and very awesome a thought! Thanks for bringing this.
